Makita XT279S Features

Powerful Motor

The XT279S kit consists of two tools: a ½ inch XFD06Z driver-drill and XDT13Z impact driver.

You can use it for a wide variety of applications around your home. You can now do your drilling, driving and fastening tasks with this cordless solution.

The Makita-built four-pole motor of the driver is powerful enough to finish your projects by delivering 3400 rpm and 3600 impacts per minute.

The driver drill has the same Makita-built motor that has the power to give out 530 pounds/inch max torque.

It also has variable speed so you can choose between 1-400 rpm in low and 0-550 rpm at high speed.

This two-speed all-metal transmission system makes it possible for you to do any kind of drilling and driving project in a very comfortable and easy way.

Ergonomic Design

What makes this Makita cordless tool set really good is the ergonomic design of the handle of the tools.

Once you have the tool in hand, it fits like a glove! You will really appreciate the design that fits right you’re your hand especially if you use it for long periods of time.

This feature reduces operator fatigue so that you can continue doing all your DIY projects.

Li-Ion Batteries

Another Makita XT279Sfeature you’ll love would be the use of the Li-ion batteries which last longer than those old Ni-Cd batteries.

You may charge the battery for only 15 minutes and it will give you a long run time.

Even if you are working on major projects, you may charge it a few times during the whole course of the task.

There is also an integrated LED light that would help illuminate your workspace especially if you work on tight areas and corners. This is gonna be a great convenience for you.

Customer Reviews

When looking up customer reviews on the Makita XT279S on the internet, there seems to be nothing but good things to be said about this product.

In fact, the only few complaints are about the battery life, which others have reported to be amazing. A combination of a drill and a screwdriver is a revolutionary concept, and professionals have found a whole new way of thinking, thanks to this innovative invention. 1.5 amp batteries make recharging faster, but that too can be jacked up by adding extra batteries for longer life.

This combo kit can make an everyday mechanical job easier, and the lightweight size and shape allow unhindered mobility. While working in confined spaces or tight situations, the arrangement of tools in the set provides no problem in picking the right tools at the right time.

It can save carpenters from accidents and unnecessary work, a fact that has been emphasized upon by satisfied customers. Even for normal household fixes, the Makita XT279S is filled with tools that can perform just about any kind of work in its category.

To top it all off, this product encourages DIY (Do It Yourself) methods, which promote creativity and self-teaching.
